Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data AI Learning Circle collects, why, and your choices. We keep it to what is needed to run the community.

1. What we collect

• Session registration: your name, email address, company/role (if you give it) and your choice about joining the WhatsApp community.
• Account / sign-up: name, email, password (stored securely by our login provider, never visible to us), company, role, and optional LinkedIn link.
• Optional profile details: photo, website and short bio, only if you add them.
• Membership: your membership status and dates. Payments are arranged directly with you; we do not collect card details on this website.
• Feedback and messages you send us.
• Technical data such as basic browser information handled by our hosting and login providers.

2. How we use it

• To register you for sessions, add you to the calendar invite and send confirmation, welcome and reminder emails.
• To create and manage your account and give access to members-only content.
• To tell the organisers who has registered, and to keep a registration record.
• To add you to the WhatsApp community, only if you tick the box or ask us.
• To answer your questions and improve the Circle.

We do not sell your data and we do not send marketing from third parties.

3. Services we rely on

We use trusted providers to run the site: GitHub Pages (hosting), Supabase (accounts, database and file storage), Google (Calendar, Gmail, Sheets and Apps Script for registrations and emails; Google Fonts) and WhatsApp (community messaging). Your data is processed by them on our behalf and may be stored outside your country.

4. Who can see your information

• The organisers can see registrations, account details and membership status.
• Other members never see your details unless you choose to share them in a feature that says so.
• Your WhatsApp number is visible to other group members if you join the WhatsApp community, according to WhatsApp's own settings.

5. Cookies and local storage

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser stores a login session on this site so that you stay signed in. Google Fonts are loaded from Google's servers.

6. How long we keep it

We keep registration and account data while the Circle is running and your account is active, and delete it when you ask us to, unless we must keep it for legal reasons.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent (for example, leaving the WhatsApp community or unsubscribing from emails) at any time. Email us and we will respond within a reasonable time. You can also edit your profile directly after logging in. If you are in the EU/EEA, UK or India, you may also have additional rights under local data protection laws, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.

8. Children

The Circle is for working professionals and is not intended for anyone under 18.

9. Security

We use reputable providers and access controls to protect your data, but no online service is completely secure.

10. Changes

We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
